Our emphasis on gender equality (SDG 5) in impoverished communities has scaled the inclusion of girls and communal gender equality efforts to new heights. Girls and women’s participation in our programme have transformed conventional gender roles and created opportunities for girls to develop life skills through football. We aim to impact not only the lives of less fortunate and underserved communities, but equally, those of the players who have been selected as our coaches and ambassadors.
